Thanks Felicity! I’ve thought about all the disposable plastic used in medical professions but not about chemists. I guess there are a lot of areas where disposable plastics are used and I’m sure that people could come up with reusable alternatives (at least for some things). Can’t pipettes be made from glass (and didn’t they used to be?) and then washed/sterilised & reused? Maybe you could ask your supplier about this option? Anyway it’s great that you’re thinking about it.
