That’s interesting about France — I was aware they’re quite advanced in getting rid of single use plastic and I agree supermarkets (and all stores) should get rid of plastic bags altogether — free or not. I used to have a wooden pencil case! It would be nice return to natural materials again. And that’s a great point you make — we don’t just need oil for plastic or energy. I wonder if anyone’s thinking about that?
